LADDER EXCHANGE 2008

Don't let a dodgy ladder shatter your life...
...part exchange it NOW at selected Ladder Association suppliers
From 1 September 2008 the Ladder Association is actively supporting the HSE's latest initiative to reduce accidents as the result of a fall from a ladder. Ladder Exchange 2008 highlights the risks associated with "dodgy" ladders and provides employers with the chance to exchange these for new ones at discounted prices. The campaign message is clear:
Choose the right ladder for the job and...
...inspect it to make sure it's safe to use!
If it's not, don't hesitate - get in touch with your nearest participating Ladder Association Manufacturer or Supplier member. Please click on the links below.
Manufacturers Suppliers A-E, F-J, K-O, P-T, U-Z
Don't fall foul of the Work at Height Regulations, and remember that Local Authority Enforcement Officers will be out checking for suspect ladders. Why take the risk?
New for 2008 and supporting this year's Ladder Exchange is the Ladder Association's LadderBook – a free 12-page guide designed to promote safety and best practice on site. It also includes "10 things you need to know about ladders". For your free copy, which also includes details about Ladder Association training, click LadderBook - June 08.pdf.
Remember…if it's broken, damaged or bent, exchange it!
